This is not an official ranking, quality award, government endorsement, investment recommendation or procurement decision. Companies are presented alphabetically. “Top” describes a researched shortlist format; it does not place the companies in a best-to-worst performance order.

Quick answer

The revised shortlist contains 11 Türkiye-headquartered businesses with a current and documented role in the tractor economy: six full-size tractor manufacturers, one compact or single-axle farm-power manufacturer, two domestic supply-chain manufacturers and two regional sales, parts and service companies.

Foreign-headquartered tractor companies were excluded even when they operate a factory, subsidiary or distributor in Türkiye. A foreign tractor brand appears only inside the profile of a separately selected Türkiye-headquartered supplier, and that company is labelled as a supplier rather than as the brand’s manufacturer.

The selection gives deliberate weight to Ankara and Konya because Central Anatolia combines large-scale crop production, tractor manufacturing, component production, engineering, parts distribution and field service. Six of the 11 profiles have their headquarters, principal factory or main regional operating base in Ankara or Konya. Location is not treated as proof of quality; each role still requires product, factory, service or institutional evidence.

Türkiye’s interests, domestic capability and Central Anatolia

For this guide, alignment with Türkiye’s interests means strengthening productive capacity, engineering know-how, critical-component capability, repairability, operator safety, skilled employment, regional service coverage, export readiness and efficient use of fuel, soil, water and other farm inputs. It does not mean political endorsement or automatic preference for a company.

Konya is one of Türkiye’s principal agricultural-machinery centres and supports a dense network of tractor, implement, axle, brake, hydraulic, casting, machining and service businesses. Ankara contributes tractor and component manufacturing, engineering, testing, agricultural institutions and national distribution functions. The shortlist therefore highlights the Ankara–Konya axis while retaining important Turkish production in Sakarya, Mersin, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ and Düzce.

A procurement decision should still be made model by model. Turkish ownership, a Turkish factory or a local dealer network does not by itself prove domestic content, suitability, durability or total cost of ownership.

• Treat a factory, sales office, subsidiary, distributor and dealer as different forms of evidence.
• Support manufacturing claims with a company production record, factory address, product documentation or relevant industry-association record.
• Distinguish company-reported capacity, domestic-content, export and network figures from independently measured results.
• Prefer evidence relevant to the preceding 18 to 24 months and disclose conflicts in legal name, production site, brand ownership or model origin.
• Give additional editorial weight to domestic engineering, component depth, serviceability, Central Anatolian capability and contribution to Türkiye’s industrial value chain.

Presentation rules

• Companies are ordered alphabetically; profile numbers are navigation aids, not performance ranks.
• Manufacturer, component manufacturer, authorised supplier and dealer roles are stated separately.
• A foreign engine, transmission, brand licence or shareholder does not automatically disqualify a Türkiye-headquartered company, but it must be disclosed when material.

3. Bozok Traktör Üretim Paz. San. ve Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. — İstanbul headquarters; Kocaeli factory

Documented role: full-size tractor manufacturer and supplier Türkiye link / status: Türkiye-headquartered tractor company with a published factory address in Çayırova, Kocaeli

Documented role: compact and full-size tractor manufacturer, exporter Türkiye link / status: Türkiye-headquartered, Turkish-capital company with production in Düzce

Yağmur manufactures Agrifarm and Efsane tractor lines at its Düzce organised-industrial-zone factory. The company describes a 35,000 m² active production facility on an 80,000 m² site and reports exports under the Agrifarm brand to more than 55 countries.

Tractor buyer checklist for Türkiye and Central Anatolia

Start with the work plan rather than advertised horsepower. Central Anatolian buyers should give particular attention to high-draft tillage, long field days, dust, heat, cold starts, transport distance, soil compaction, fuel logistics and the ability of the local service network to reach the farm during narrow sowing and harvest windows.

1. Verify the contracting legal entity, manufacturer, production plant, brand owner, importer and warranty provider.
2. Match rated and maximum power, torque curve, transmission ratios, creeper speeds, PTO options, hydraulic flow, lift capacity, axle load and ballast to the actual implements.
3. Check field weight, tyre and track options, soil-compaction risk, turning circle, ground clearance and transport dimensions.
4. Request the applicable type approval, emissions stage, braking, lighting, ROPS or cab-safety documentation and test reports.
5. Separate locally manufactured assemblies from imported engines, transmissions, electronics, cabins or complete models.
6. Compare fuel use and work rate under a defined implement, depth, soil, slope, speed and load—not an unspecified promotional test.
7. Confirm dealer distance, mobile-service response, diagnostic capability, seasonal opening hours and stocks of filters, belts, sensors, clutch, hydraulic and transmission parts.
8. Price the full ownership period: finance, insurance, fuel, AdBlue where applicable, service, tyres, wear parts, downtime and resale.
9. Test cab visibility, noise, heating, air conditioning, seat, controls, dust sealing and safe access during a real field demonstration.
10. Put delivery date, exact configuration, acceptance test, training, warranty exclusions, parts commitment and remedies for non-performance in the contract.

• Exact model year, engine, transmission, axle, tyre, hydraulic, PTO, cab and electronics configuration.
• Production country and local-content basis for the complete tractor and major assemblies.
• Applicable approvals, emissions level, test reports and conformity documentation.
• Compatible implements and the assumptions behind power, fuel and work-rate claims.
• Delivery, commissioning, operator training, warranty, service territory and critical-spares commitment.
• For exports: Incoterms, packing, customs, payment security, destination-market homologation and language documentation.
